Job Description
D2 Creative is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our agency. This role reports to the Digital Strategy & Marketing Manager. The position will be hybrid WFH/in-office if the candidate lives within proximity to our Somerset, NJ location.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing daily digital marketing activities, including email marketing, digital advertising, copywriting, social media campaigns, and other support activities for our clients.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Write, build, and manage the placement of paid ads across platforms such as Google Ads or social media advertising platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Develop a strong social media presence for clients, including writing, scheduling, and monitoring organic posts
- Build and deploy email campaigns using various email platforms (Bee, MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
- Keep current digital marketing trends, suggesting and implementing strategic insight to improve engagement and traffic
- Publish content on client and agency websites using existing templates or page-building software, including blog articles, new product pages, landing pages, etc.
- Work with clients and internal teams to maintain websites, blogs and other content, and social media accounts
- Copywriting, editing, and proofing content
- Run scans of client websites to identify SEO improvement opportunities, then work with internal team members to implement changes
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, website traffic, and other KPIs
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have sound SEO/SEA and SMM knowledge, with experience navigating Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
The Digital Marketing Specialist should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and presenting ideas to internal teams or clients if need be.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have 3-5 years of previous experience creating and managing digital content and campaigns.
Experience working in the following industries is preferred: life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology.
A working knowledge of CMS such as WordPress or Joomla is preferred.
Basic image editing skills, using Photoshop or similar technology are recommended.
